Seven Elements for Great Marketing – Creative
There are seven elements you need to make your marketing really work.
Fifth, create a series of impactful, persuasive messages that drive your customers to whatever action you want them to take.
The only rule about creativity is that there are no rules about creativity. However, there are best practices that will help you improve your results:
- First, write for one person. Ads that are written thinking about “the mass” are usually cliché, boring and unconvincing. Focus on your core consumer and write to him/her.
- Second, clarity of action. What specific action do you want your customer to take? Do you want the person to watch a video? Download a coupon? Scan a QR code? Register for a promotion? Visit a store? Buy a specific brand? You need to make that clear.
- Third, use your research insights What did your research teach you about why your customer buys? Well… use that.
- Fourth, be direct. Have just one major point per ad. Don’t confuse your customer with several messages. If you need several messages, create several campaigns.
- And fifth, analyze your results to see which creative is actually working and build up on that success.
